Hey all, I just bought a used 02 Utopia 185. It's the first boat I've owned and I'm really excited for the summer!
I was curious if there would be any big issues with keeping it in the water for the summer at our local dock. I dont want to cart it back and forth and if its not going to harm the boat by leaving it there. It'll be in freshwater.
Thanks for the help!

Congrats on the new doo!
This should be fine to leave it in the water since it is freshwater, but I would recommend pulling it out at the end of the season to give it a good cleaning. You also might want to consider painting the bottom if you are going to leave it in the water for extended periods of time to better protect it's gelcoat.

If you just bought this and it is your first boat first congrats. since you just bought the boat just keep an eye in the hull in the back for water. you might want to keep it in for a night or 2 then pull out and check for excess water comming out of the boat just to make sure you don't have any leaks anywhere; but yeah just clean it real good and you should be fine
