Twas a wonderful weekend in the DOO.
The bay was as calm as could be on Friday, but we spanked it anyway.
Thanks for whoever had the pointer about cleaning the weeds from the intake grate by hanging off the back of the boat and using your toes to rake the grate.
The waters got a little choppy on Sunday so we went through the channel and headed out to the ocean. It was more calm than the bay, and had alot less traffic.
Nuthin like a day jumping wakes in the Doo, to remind you what total body soreness is all about.
There must have been a thousand boats in the Elliot key area on Sunday. I will have to find some better islands to camp on in the future.
We will wait for the sumbrella top to come in before we go back out though. Probably take that long for the sunburn to heal.

Navigation is much easier with the new Garmen 276C mounted to the dash.
Anyways, great weekend to do the DOO!
