I am looking at winter storage and don't have the space inside my garage for the boat in the winter, and covered storage rental is quite expensive. I do have room in my yard with a boat cover.
What has been anyone's experience with winter boat covers?
I am concerned about the oxidization and sun bleaching along the side of the boat. The Seadoo storage cover only goes down the first bit of the side of the boat and doesn't really cover the decals or coloured paint. I have seen full size custom canvas covers on the web but have no experience with them or any idea how much they cost. I do realize more oxidation happens in the summer so I would probably use for prolonged periods of summer storage as well if not in the garage.
Any storage ideas, comments, or suppliers would be appreciated! Just want to keep things looking like new.
