Can anyone tell me what year they transitioned from the aluminum to the stainless impellers in the Jet pumps& I do believe the earlier models can be updated??. Also what year model incorporated the new remote operated device to clear the weeds from the water intake area??????????, any other information on important changes would also be appericiated.

I do not know the answer to the stainless impeller question but I can tell you my 2007 Utopia has the stainless impellers. I believe they offered the ICS(Inlet Clearance System) for a few years before eliminating it. My Utopia(Again 2007) with twin Rotax 155's does not have the ICS system. I asked why this was eliminated and was told that it was marginally effective and was a constant source of problems for the servicing dealers. I believe 2006 was the least year for it on Utopia...Not sure about the other models.
