im looking to do the same for mine. the windsheild is so low at top speed u cant see and i find myself standing. if u have any luck let me know ppllzz

What did you come up with? My legs are sore today from the sit/stand position you have to assume to see over the windshield all day while driving. I'd love to come up with a good solution..

I noticed that the challenger 230 boat has seats with flip up bolsters.

It looks like the base is totally different though.

this is a major complaint of mine. Actually my seat doesnt slide back and forth easily any more since I am always sitting on the seat back and bending the tracks a bit.

I also find the seat low. My solution is two throwable cushions. I feel like a child sitting on phone books at the adult table, but it works. I would prefer to see a flip up option, but I don't care to drop $300 or more for a new seat. There is also no question about having a throwable cushion available.

Still havent found a great solution. I had a cushion made that fits in the seat. This helps some but not great.

Can you post a pic of the cushion you had made? I might want to do the same thing.

I made a piece last night that will raise my seat up three inches. I took three one-inch thick pieces of PVC trimboards (Azek type product), screwed them together, routered the edges and painted it. This will now give me a raised platform to mount my seat bracket to. I should have pics and a test report by Sunday, if I can find some longer bolts.

My bolts came in today but were only threaded on the bottom inch. I ordered more today that are fully threaded. Since I have to wait, I went ahead and used a 3/4" roundover bit instead of 1/4". I think it will look more factory this way.

I do have enough material to make three more if anyone else is interested. I'm debating on whether to do the passenger seat too...

Just finished up the drivers seat mod and it turned out pretty good. I used an old office chair for the parts! Add a welder and some paint and its done. Check out the pics below.

Very nice mod, what kind of chair did you get the parts from? Have you water tested the boat with the mod to see how stable it is at full height with a good chop?
