Hi I just bought a Utopia 205 SE. The instructions my dealer gave me were not very thorough. What steps must one do after the boat is pulled from the water. Are there any plugs to drain the water if so where are they?
I have a tiny chip on the bottom of the boat along one of the cleats I can barely see black underneath should I fix this or is this normal. I don't remember hitting anything and only have taken the boat out once.

I would recommend pulling the drain plugs once the boat is back on the trailer and out of the water, this will allow any water that is collected in the boat or ski locker to drain out. It would also be a good practice to rinse or wash the boat after each use, this will keep the hull and gelcote in good condition.
Can you take a picture of it and post it here so I can have a better look at it? It doesn't sound structural, it just sounds cosmetic so if this is the case you could buy a DIY kit from Gelcote International, http://www.gelcoat.c...&...nt=121&pg=1, to make the repair yourself. I have wrote a review where I did this on our previous boat, http://seadoosportbo...hp?showtopic=94.

Is your boat used primarily in salt or fresh water? Did you get an owner's manual with the boat? Was the boat water tested before you got it or did you have an opportunity to go out in it before you bought it?
