This is very strange, do you see anything that looks loose in the engine compartment? Please let us know what you find out from your dealer. This makes me want to go look in our engine compartment too, I will let you know if I see anything.WTF? I just checked the engine area and I found these stainless steel hardware laying close to the bilge plug. Can someone identify these, please? Crap....this is my 3rd issue. I hope the dealer has the answer/ explanation for this. I did not notice any changes with the doo's performance last time I used it, though. I hope these parts are just extra ones left by the ass(emblers) down in the plant!!!!! Can you tell? I'm getting upset OMG...now I'm thinking of getting a yamaha next time....

I did not notice anything loose. I noticed though that there are two threaded rods sticking out of the battery. I wonder if they belong there?? And what abot the compression spring??? Well, I'd find out today.......

I checked out our engine compartment this weekend and I didn't find any loose parts in there.
Good for you.
After I mentioned it to the dealer, he answered, "Take it back to the last dealer who serviced your boat". With his tone of voice, I think he was a little pissed off that I did not do my 10-hr service at their dealership. I figured out where the spring came from..it's part of a retractrable pen. I found the ink refill sticking out of one of the plugs. The nuts and washers...still a mystery!

I looked around in my engine compartment and found a family of indonesian refugees! My boat has a much better hole shot after helping them find a new home.
Ha-ha! Funny, funny, funny! No offense to our Asian members. Are you sure they are not Filipino refugees? HELLO to Pinoys/ Pinays out there!

Glad to hear you tracked down the origin of the "spare parts". I actually did look around in my compartment and didn't find anything that wasn't supposed to be there. I hope the joke didn't offend anyone. . .
Nah! I think Kevin is right. Once in a while we need to be smiling, right? Seriously, let's not be too serious...he-he-he....
Fellow dooers please keep posting whatever new "discovery", good or bad, that you have on your rides. Surely, it will benefit us all.
