[PURAVIDA]

This is my second year with this sportster. I bought it brand new. The day I bought it, it would not start. After that, a good summer, two trips, second trip would not start again. Parked it for the winter, yes I winterized. Summers here again, third trip it died again. It's been in the shop for 1 month to fix a faulty plug to the gas pump. The only certified Seadoo repair shop around that can work on them is so booked fixing others. Now I know why they offer such a great extended warranty. For Sale ASAP!

Have your tried contacting BRP directly? It is possible that you got a lemon. Take a look at this post, http://seadoosportbo...eaDoo-t381.html, from a couple years ago. This member had recurring problems, I actually talked to BRP personally about his situation and eventually he got a new boat at a fair deal. If you make BRP aware that there is a real problem then they will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy, you just have to put in your "doo diligence" if you are up for it. Give it a try before you take the next step and sell it.

My guess would be a grounding problem! Check and sand down all connections that attack to the block of the engine. Check battery?? 12.5v at least. Thats what I would try if my BRP sevice was that bad or didnt have warranty. At BRP the sqweeky wheel gets the grease! Good luck!

Thanks for the advice, I will try to be more patient. It's just very disappointing, being a new boat and all. Looking to the future, if you know what I mean. Should get my boat back this week. I will keep this posting updated.
