My engine was running rough when under load and adding power . It would bog down alot. I decided to check the plugs since it sounded like it was missing. How do you know when the plugs are fouled? A good sign would be when you take them out they look like they were dipped in chocolate cake Live and learn, and damn those plugs are expensive, but she runs like a dream now, smooth and 45. does anyone know if I can just take the old plugs and clean them if they would work well again?

I would say that is definitely a good indicator they need to be replaced!
They can be cleaned and the gap needs to be checked, but if they are bad as yours sounded it is much better to go ahead replace them.

Yeah, I replaced them all, just kinda wondered if I did what you say, if they will be worth keeping around just for spares if I need one. I figure it can't hurt, but then again I am kinda a pack rat. So if I should junk em let me know.I would say that is definitely a good indicator they need to be replaced!
