I have a 2011 Seadoo speedster 200,, twin 255s.
Having issues with it starting. Battery is good and strong, when connecting the key everything cycles like they should, and I get 3 steady beeps. Wont start. Take the key back off and its does it again, 3 steady beeps and nothing from the start switches. Repeat the process and get 4 quick beeps, Im assuming 2 quick beeps per motor, then it fires right up. Take the key off and it may or may not repeat one or the other. It may start right up with the 4 beeps, or it may give the 3 steady beeps and nothing from the start switches. Im so confused. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I am a new owner of a 2004 single engine Sportster and I have a similar problem. I have found that by removing the key and pushing the accelerator lever all the way to fast and then back to idle I will get the two beeps and it will start. This can be a real pain as it does not always work. I too would like to know how this system works and if there is something we need to do to make starting less of a pain.
Thanks for any input
