Hey Guys first post and its a sad one...blew a rod on optimax 200 ....Looks like I may need to refit does anyone know of a good new or used engine (inexpensive and readily available) to refit in my hydro hoopty...1999 challenger 2000....I cant find m2 jet engines anywhere on the web....

This doesn't help too much but there is a member here who selling 240 EFI parts, http://seadoosportbo...arts-t1997.html. Brian might be to at least help you with where he got his parts.

You might try Sanderson Marine at 804-706-4100. They are a Mercury Marine large engine dealer and would be able to either sell an engine or give some other options. As far as we know the Mercury Marine engine is still available new, Sea Doo stopped using the engines, Mercury did not stop making them.
