So my challenger isn't starting and has a check engine light. Found it to be blowing the "gauges" fuse as soon as I connect the DESS. Looked a bit more And found that one of the plugs at the box on top of the airbox has a burn post and the wires are a bit charred. What is happening and how do I fix it??? I tried to attach pics but was unable.
Help please.

Not sure if I should clip them and put new plugs and see what happens?

So I clipped and put a new plug on and no change. As a last ditch effort to see if the GUAGES fuse popping was the issue I put a 7.5a in a it fired up without hesitation but now the volt light is on! So why is my GUAGES fuse blowing and I assume I'm in for a rectifier at least?
