Am I correct in thinking that I don't need to reinforce the hull on a 2008 speedster 150 when I install a wake tower? Also, do the armrest pads come off? if so, is there a hole behind them that I could use to get behind the hull?
If anyone has any tips on installing a tower on a speedster 150 post up, I already read the how to for the challenger so I think I have a pretty good handle on it, but any tips would be appreciated.

I think I would rather be safe than sorry about reinforcing the hull, if you are going to be in there it might make sense to go ahead and do this so you don't have any problems in the long run.
What tower are you going with?

I got a liquid audio sounds from ebay. I'm not sure if there is enough room to get any reinforcement in the hull without cutting some holes, hopefully I can get away with not cutting many if any holes.

You are ok at the rear mounts, there is enough room to get the reinforcing plate in and mount the tower without cutting holes....the front is a whole different story. Depending on the spread, i.e. the distance between the front and rear mounts, you may beable to drill some holes through the 2 storage areas to get to the mounts but it will be tough! Sorry it has to be that way, we have been suggesting reinforcement in all boats but unfortunately there is no way for Sea Doo to know the spread distance so consequently they don't know where to place the reinforcing.
