The new 255 Open ID adds tons of fun to Scarab’s centre console lineup, with twin Rotax power and a host of innovative features. This Identity 255’s two-tone Black/Denim Gelcoat with 3D Impulse graphics really stand out…literally. The raised graphics act like a fender, helping to protect the boat from scuffs.
The helm is cleanly laid out and the optional LCD Touch Screen Command Centre provides split-screen access to engine, navigation and infotainment systems. It’s complex enough to take some getting used to, but bright enough to see in direct sunlight. The triple-wide helm seat is contoured and well-padded for comfort. The centre cushion drops down for standing but the side cushions remain in place to provide lateral support for aggressive maneuvers.
