Trip is Lake Tahoe, near Sand Harbor State Park. I need a recommendation for a condo rental. Any advice or tips is highly appreciated.

I have never used that website personally, but we are partnered with Lakehouse.com which is owned by the same group I believe. I would try contacting them here, http://lakehousevaca...om/feedback.php, to see if they can help clarify the process some.
That's a good idea! Gracias!

Anyway, I'm wondering if my extra portable car gps will be of use during my Lake Tahoe boating trip. I plan to launch my doo close to the condo and just keep cruising around this great lake, and with the gps unit get back to the same dock area. I mean, I do not want to get lost! I heard that it is a very big lake! OR do I need a "marine" gps unit?
I will do two reviews after the trip. 1) boat cover I purchased. 2) condo rental

I was able to get a hold of the management company of the condo. Everything is cool now. 3 bed rm, access to 2 private beaches w/ pool. My trip is set up for this weekend.

Ahh! I'm back! I lost my laptop power cable during my trip that's why I've been missing in action here.
The trip was looong. The 389-mile drive took almost 10 hours due to rest area stops, gasoline(lots) fill-ups, and 'lil bit of gambling along the way. Finally got to the condo late afternoon so no more time to launch the boat! The condo is NICE!...3 br/2.5 bath, fire place, deck w/ bbq grill, high-qualty leather sofas, free access to two beaches, pool and ample parking. The only complain I have is the no boat/trailer parking per HOA rules. I parked my toy off the street. It's safe though, I saw a few boats parked. Other than that, for $180/night plus a one time cleaning fee of $140 I think it's a very good deal. The condo is located 3 blocks from the beach, very near local stores, banks, and Hyatt casino. I wish I can afford to buy a property there. Condo like that is going for around the high $800k!! I chose this condo because it's near Sand Harbor State Beach. I was a little bit disappointed because the beach does not have "white sand" as mentioned by some articles I've read. Fee is $8/ vehicle. Ski beach and Incline beach $14 for boat and $8/person. Condo rental covers those fees for the latter resorts. For those who are interested in renting this condo, please let me know if you need more info.
Lake Tahoe is a very clean lake! The water is clear....green then turns blue. If someone takes you there blind folded, you'd think you're at the ocean! TAKE NOTE: water is calm in the morning until noon and gets really choppy afterwards! I learned it the hard way. I thought that I was not able to get my toy off the very rough water. To make the matter worse, the trailer disengaged with the ball hitch because my bro-in-law forgot to check if it was latched properly. Luckily the chains were still on, otherwise, say bye-bye to my trailer! The altitude did affect the boat's performance. I think I have the smallest boat out there and the only doo. I've received a few "nice boat you got there" from the locals though .
Coming home we decided to try another lake along the way. This time it's Grant Lake over at June Lake Loop. It's a small lake but looks ideal for skiing or any other water toys. Launch fee is $10. Oh yeah, no cell phone signal there. No public phone either. I will post pictures as soon as I get a new cable for my other lap top......
