Yeah, what he said. I too would like to know how the sub move is done (only in the interest of avoiding them of course) on a 150 speedster...
After researching the subject, I have determined that Sea-Doo redesigned the reverse gate in a way that does not cause the bow to sink. In my experiments, I zip along at speed, drop the throttle, pop the gate into reverse, and throttle back up. No Sub-move, but a flashy power brake, lots of water shooting out the sides and 40 mph to stop in 3 boat lengths.

Also thumper I live on a freshwater lake so no corrosion issues here. I couldn't even imagine takeing the lil boat out to the big waters. It gets pretty choppy on my lake and sometimes I park it till it calms just cause I'm afraid I might crack the glass

Agreed with the reverse drop at speed its fun and could potentially help to avoid an accident . Good bit to know just in case.

Crack the glass??? If a boat cannot take a little pounding, what good is it? Ok, ok, the boat is not really made of glass. Your boat is made of plastic, reinforced with glass fiber. Glass fibers are very strong and quite flexible. Some Navy boats (minesweepers) are made of fiberglass, and I'm pretty sure the Navy sails in choppy water.

Is it even possible to do sub moves with the new speedsters? I realize it is VERY hard on the drive train, but it seems nearly impossible to do because of the stops on the controls. Aside from hitting a larger boats wake brodside. Its just kind of fun to see the faces of unsuspecting passengers.
I've got the same boat and have not been able to do sub move myself. Stopping quick is pretty cool though.

Reminds me, I think I will take the throttle control system out and lube it up before I go out for the season this year.
