Don't buy an MT2 tower for a 2000 or 1800. It's a great looking tower and I spent more to get this new sleek looking tower over the MT1 tower. I had to install it towards the back of the boat as there is no access to the front. I have it so it lays down on the swimplatform but that caused the front arms to have a conflict with the windshields opening so I had to force them back further. Now I cannot install a mirror because the tower is a touch too far back. Not impressed with it. Get the MT1 only.

I should also mention that yes I could have had it up in a mid range area. You pull the speakers and have access to mount the brackets and then you can get your hand up under the front seat to mount front suppports. The problem with this tower is that it would then fold down onto the sundeck and that would not be very good for traveling and using the cover. To put the tower so it folds down on the rear seats is impossible unless you planned on cutting access holes for the front poles up by the front seat. That is where I wanted the tower in the first place.

Looks great! Did you have the tower painted or did you do it yourself?

Last Fall I installed a Joystick tower on my C2K. Here's a couple of photos:
Looks great, fits perfectly. I have two wakeboard racks and the largest CIBA mirror available.
I wrote up an article on the installation process complete with detailed photos, in case anyone is interested.
Hope this helps!
