If so, it looks like we could use the wireless floating remote with this deck!

According to the Jensen/ASA website, it should be compatible with the MSR3007.
Handy for the back swim platform and when out of the boat!

Plugged in my iPod touch and poof, the radio had full control of the iPod and displayed full descriptions on the scrolling screen. Was even able to navigate through the playlists, nicely done.
---
My wireless remote should arrive any day now but I did some digging and reading. It has a receiver that has to be plugged into the remote control harness from the radio. Don't forget we already have a remote installed at the dash so you will also need to order the Y-Cable assembly:
Manuf. Part #: MWRYCBLS
$19.99 typical cost
http://www.westmarin...mp;classNum=562
This will let us split the signal and connect both remotes.
---
I'm also looking at replacing the stock remote with the nice one with the LCD. It is a slightly larger gauge (2 3/4 vs 2 inch) but there appears to be just enough lip on the molding in the dash to support it. Otherwise I'll simply remove all the lip and mount the gauge flush to the dash.
Not having the LCD display with the iPod cable is really annoying... for a $20k+ boat, they should have sprung the extra $30-40 and got us the LCD display.... shame on BRP.
Cheers
Tim
