Took my 2001 Challenger 1800 out today for its 2nd trip of the season.
Started and ran normally (a little cold-hearted as usual at first) drove around, parked for awhile... Went to start it up to return to the landing... and it won't start. Had to get towed in.
Engine cranks fine and I can smell gas.. but it won't even pop. Acting like it's getting no spark (but I haven't dug in to testing yet).
Anything that I should be on the lookout for? Checked the tether switch... all seems OK there....
TIA for any help.

When is the last time you changed your spark plugs?

Last summer -- but I hooked up a in-line spark tester between the plug and the plug-wire last night... nothing (only checked the top 2 cylinders as they were easy to get to/see from the console of the boat).
Also checked to make sure the tether switch and neutral switch were working -- looks good. Tether switch tests open when tether is connected. Neutral switch tests closed when boat is in neutral.
