I just purchased a 2006 Seadoo Utopia 205 SE with twin Rotax 155 engines. There is a Voltage Regulator at engine and someone has mounted a small fan over each of them (2 x Voltage Regulators in total) The dealer couldn't explain why the fans were added. The fans run all the time and only turn off when I turn the battery switch to off. Any thoughts as to why they are even there and why the have to run all the time, even when the motors are not running? Can they be wired to only come on when the boat is running? Just looking for an explanation for the fans as I have never seen this before. Thanks for your help.
