Drain plug in, and into the water it went. Pulled the chokes out and both motors fired on the first try. Same gas and plugs as last year. No fogging on the motors when I put it away, no gas stabilizer. Just a few gallons of red pop ran through it, dumped some in the bilge, and disconnected the battery. The Doo ran like a top. Had it out for about 2 hours. No problems.
Ed, (Father in Law) has been around boats all his life, and owns three of them. Fishing and pontoons. I tried to get him to drive from the launch, and he declined. Hence, it was up to me, to show him what a Speedster can do. This was pretty easy, as the lake was like glass, with little or no traffic on it. Within about 5 seconds, he had turned his hat around like me, and within about 7 seconds, he removed it and firmly held onto it
Once I got him in the driver's seat, it was hard to pry his ass back out of it! That night at dinner, all he talked about was the boat. His face was beat red, from windburn. What a riot.
Have Jet Docks being delivered on Friday, and Saturday the forcast is for 80 degrees........and rain. Who cares. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!

We passes a truck coming down yesterday that had 3 S200's loaded on it! They were awesome from what I could see alll covered up. Big boat, and I want one.
There is a Seadoo dealer here that has one, and I'm going to look this week.
I can't believe this is working,,, I'm hitting a wireless AP somewhere in the hotel...

I took the DOO out for the first time this year...ya, I know what the heck was I waiting for. I didn't want to rush and I really wanted to enjoy the first day out so I was waiting for a really nice weekend and I got it. I topped off the tank with $30 of fresh gas and used premiuim (as always) good thing I did because I paid 98cents/litre for premium and the Marina was charging 1.04 for regular!! OUCH!
Both days (Sat and Sun) went off without a hitch and so I guess it should have considering it is a 2003...but you never know. Oh, except for the big friggin scratch my buddy put on the driver's side hull...... didn't get the gelcote but the sticker is a mess. Not a really big deal, but you never want it to happen. I have a few already which I am sure everyone does........... fix what I can and move on.

Did you order the gelcoat stuff yet? You need to get that repaired, especially if it is through to the glas. Water can get in the glas and start it to rot. Glad everyone is starting to have "good" weekends for Dooin'. We went out yesterday for about 3 hours for some testing. Without a hitch also. The water was sort of muddy and had lots of floaters to contend with, but we had a good time. I let the wife drive most of the time, and I just took it easy riding.
