I bought a 2000 17' speedster last year and want to spruce it up a little. I would like to buy all new seat cushions and I am curious where I might find the best prices. I am also curious if I can change all the decals on the exterior and interior. The boat is white and black now with black white and purple decals. I would like to do white black and yellow decals and get yellow seat cushions for it (seat cushions are currently dark gray and get really hot in the sun).
My Rivalair trailer lost a fender last year and I would also like to replace it if anyone knows where I might buy a couple new wheel fenders I would also like that info too.
Third, when I add power, sometimes the engine hesitates a little before jumping out of the water. I replaced the plugs and have run plenty of gas through the engine and it still hesitates. I had the spark plug wires checked and was told they are good too. Has anyone had similar problems?
Thanks for any info you can provide, Erik

The best prices I have found online are from World of Powersports, http://worldofpowersports.com. You should be able to use the BRP Parts Catalog to locate the part numbers, http://epc.brp.com/l...CookieSupport=1. Get the part numbers you need, then look for the prices by part number on the World of Powersports' website or give them a call if you can't locate the part online.
If you want to go with the yellow look then I would say grab the parts from the 99 Speedster SK like this one,
http://seadoosportbo...?auto...0&st=0. You might have a problem finding seat cushions for the bow seat though, on the 99 Speedster SK it had a closed bow so I am not sure if they made a seat cushion for this seat in yellow.
This guy is also missing a fender from his trailer, so maybe he would be willing part his trailer out so you could grab his other fender or maybe he is selling the trailer real cheap, http://rochester.cra.../662277377.html.
As far as the engine issues, I would try adding some Quickleen to the fuel if you haven't before, http://www.mercurypa...ckleen-p25.html.
Please report back and let us know how things are coming along, this sounds like a great project!

Thanks for the quick reply. If I find the decals and seat cushions to do what I want I will post some before and after pictures.
Thanks again, Erik
Is the 99 Speedster SK a 17' boat? If I were to try to get the decals for that boat would they fit mine? Thanks again.

Yes the hull design of the 99 Speedster SK is the same as your so you should be good with the decals and everything. Have a look here, http://images.google...&...sa=N&tab=wi, you see some different shots of the Speedster SK.
