Spider cracks in floor and cracking console cover

I have cracks in the floor near the cup holders of my 06 Sportster. Also, my console cover (in front of steering wheel) has numerous cracks all over, and seems to be seperating at the seam between top and bottom half.
I took it to my dealer last fall, I was about one month past my warranty period. Wasnt sure if I could get help since I was one month out, but wanted to enjoy the last month of the summer on my boat and not have it in the shop.
The dealer put through the claim. After numerous phone calls and being extremely patient with my dealer and BRP, I finally got a response yesterday (about 6 months later). They will not cover anything.
I will never buy a BRP boat again, poor engineering / design and they dont stand by their product or have interest in improving it, at least in this case.
Anyone else with similar experience, or any ideas? I was hoping they would at least replace the console cover.

I ended up getting them covered under the 5 year hull warranty though. I would recommend giving Remy a call at BRP, explain your situation and what the dealer has told you. He is a good person to work with and will do anything he can if it is possible. Just don't take no for an answer and they should be able to cover it for you.

I experienced some minor stress/spider cracks around my cleats in our 2000 Speedster, I took it to the dealer and they said the same that they didn't think it would be covered since they weren't structural.

However even with all the little things, I still loved my little Sportster SCIC and would get it again if I was looking for that sized boat. There is really nothing that compares to them on the market and in 4 yrs it always started right up, required almost no maintence and was faster then most boats on the lake any given day, so I give it a pass all things considered. The build quality on the bigger SeaDoo's is better (not perfect)and should be for twice the price... That said if they used the plastic helm from the Speedster 200 on the Speedster 150 / Sportster then this problem wouldn't exist, and it would be cheaper for them to make too so they kinda messed up there as far as I can tell...
