I'M LOOKING FOR A REPLACEMENT FOR MY 240 EFI ENGINE WHICH HAS HAD A FAILURE WITH A PISTON PLACING THE ENGINE NOT USEABLE. I WOULD WELCOME ANY INFO ON THE DIRECTION I SHOULD TAKE, WHETHER NEW OR REBUILD. THANKS DMUZZ

I came across this, http://www.stemtoste...ner=StemToStern, while briefly looking around. They just have a few Mercury 240 EFI parts, but maybe contact them and see if they could steer you in the right direction?

DONT GO TO STEMTOSTERN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just got done rebuilding my 240 efi and ordered some parts from then and didn't get parts or couldn't even get ahold of them! email call or anything. look them up on www.bbb.com aka better buisness bureau, they have many complaints listed nationwide. I went with thme because there parts were cheaper i even paid the 10 membership fee and thought i was going to save hundreds of dollars but ended up getting screwed! email me at pro_floorz@yahoo.com if you are interested in getting rid of your other motor though i would love to buy it from you, or rebuild it.

you can always rebuild it i rebuilt mine from about 2000+- think about it!
