The docking light assembly seem to be all one unit and you cannot just replace the bulb from what I can see. is there a cheaper way to get to the bulb instead of having the buy the entire docking lights assembly?

I just bought a 2003 Islandia and began to fix all the little problems. One upgrade I have done is to replace every light bulb, including the halogen docking lights with low heat and low amperage LED bulbs. The major job was the halogen docking lights for which I found a perfect replacement at the local Advance Auto Parts store for $24 for the pair. This involves removing the aluminum bracket that holds the halogen bulb and simply inserting the LED bulb into the 3" hole in the plastic cover and sealing it with clear silicone. Works perfect, gives out more light than halogen and you leave them on all night long without draining your battery.
