Yes!Had my challenger about a month or so now. Been out 6-7 times. The display still shows 1 hr and the gas gauge doesn't go down any? Any ideas as to what this could be?
The hour meter needs a software fix not yet provided by seadoo(still waiting)
And I know on my boat that it shows full for a long time before it starts to go down, so maybe you just havent used enough gas yet. when I use my boat all day i use about 16 gallons and the gas gauge is like two notches from full at that point. I'm guissing i amd going 8-10 gallons before it stars to show off full.
I would be currious to know what your max rpm's are and top speed if your boat is broken in yet?
and what alltitude level you are at.
thanks

The hour meter really bothers me though. They know this is an issue?

It is a known issue - bothered me too, but your dealer can get actual miles from the computer. I brought mine in for 10hr service when the meter registered 2 hrs, actual was just under 20. I believe the rose compass does not work either (the reading is accurate, but I think the rose is supposed to indicate direction as well?). Mine shows 4 hours now, but I know it is more like 40.Not broken in yet (only a handful of hours, ~6) - but I am getting about 7500 RPMs and 39 - 40 MPH with 2 full size adults

Just got it back from service - they found and repaired two leaks - hopefully no more water in the deck storage compartment.

Well it bothers me to the point I am unwilling to accept a non-working boat. If they aren't able to fix it quickly I will be researching some legal remedies and may look for class action since it's obviously a known issue. They could fix it quickly if they wanted to. It's obvious they don't care.It is a known issue - bothered me too, but your dealer can get actual miles from the computer. I was sold a boat with an hour meter. Had I known there was no hour meter, I might not have purchased the boat.
I am getting water in the floor storage compartment as well, chalk up another problem. Holy crap, what kind of POS did I buy?

First attempt (be dealer) at repairing the leaks was unsuccessful - I still have water in deck storage area, after sitting in river on a dry day. I will call them Monday morning for take 2!Well it bothers me to the point I am unwilling to accept a non-working boat. It is know to the BRP vehicles to have kind of a delay in hours readings.....just like if from factory the hours were only counted after around 10 hours maybe the break-in period...who knows, after that it will start to work ok.Had my challenger about a month or so now. Been out 6-7 times. The display still shows 1 hr and the gas gauge doesn't go down any? Any ideas as to what this could be?
As for the Fuel gauge, my C180 2005 acts kind of strange too, you can almost run like one for two hour and it stays to Full position on the gauge, if you look at the fuel tank underneath, only when the tank is almost to middle of fuel the fuel gauge will start to drop but then it drops quickly....the fuel gauge don't seem to act in a linear way...nothing major but yes...it's a bit annoying.
