so last weekend i was pulling to tubes and my motor putter and died . when i went to restart it i was really "clanky" sounding, more than usual. i thought maybe i picked up a stick but then it died again. so i sat and thought about my options, and finally cranked it back up, put it in gear and just tried to troll to land. after a few minutes the clank noise went away but to be sure i went about 5mph to drop people off at the shore. i took it out by my self and there was no clank but a loss of rpm. about 1500. so i took it to the dock to load up and it puttered and died again. then of course it didn't start back up , it was turning, but wasnt starting. so i loaded it up took it home and today got a compression test to see what was up. I started the motor, first try, started right up. So i continued and found out, cylinder 6 is getting no compression . all other cylinders are exact same. I put oil in the cylinder to see if it was seized and still no compression. the oil did spit back out though. if i hook up the compression tester, and crank it about 7-10 turns i get about 15 psi, compared to 77.5psi on 3 cranks on every other piston. what does this sound like???? Is there a way that a intake/exhaust valve could be stuck? Or is there even on in this engine. Is it rings, or a scored piston. I just was wondering if anyone had any ideas before i start on it.
No Compression
