Its a 1997 Seadoo Sportster here is the problems.....

The boat has some problems such as cavitationin in right engine when accelerating (air is getting sucked in to jet drive via bad carbon ring or wear ring, impeller, either way its priced low enough to get a whole new pump if need be) and the carbs need to be adjusted and synchrinized along with other tune up procedures. Engines start and run I can get this boat about 2200.00 I need to know what Im looking at in getting this fixed......Or maybe even a new engine.....Please let me know soon so I can get this before its sold....Im a new buyer. Is it worth the 2200.00 It has some fading too,but 2200.00 something to put in the water....What ya think

A new impeller and wear ring +labor at a dealer should run around $450...

I would imagine you can probably score the parts online a little cheaper... but that is a good baseline to proceed upon for those repairs.

The fading is incidental in my opinion. Check the hoses, look for cracks in the gel coat... it wouldn't be a bad idea to take it to a dealer and see what they think before you actually buy it if possible.
