Hi
I took my boat out of storage this year and it never would get power. It would barely plane out. It did not make any clunking or other sounds to suggest trouble. It worked fine last year when taken out of the water. I took it into a regional mechanic and he tells me that the # 5 cylinder is blown, probably due to lack of oil to that cylinder. Is this common ? Does this make sense ? The boat has always been maintained, and has had no oil leaks or dips in oil levels. Why would a maintained boat with < 100hrs have a clogged oil port ?
Thanks

2000 islandia engine trouble/problem
