Has anyone replaced their choke set up with the primer kit? it is supposed to eliminate the hard starting issue by giving the carb fuel immediately....
my 97 seems to crank alot before catching... it starts everytime, but its frustrating!
also, anyone run plugs other than ngk???

I've never worried about priming my system. I just crank until start. If it takes longer than approx 45 seconds to start, then it's probably time to check your fuel filters.
For your second question, I have used the Champion brand BR8ES spark plugs (manufactured by Federal Mogul) from Walmart without any issues.
