I have a 05 sportster 4tec and noticed that the sun makes the fiberglass glow on a section of the engine compartment. The location is driver side down near the bottom of the yellow hull section. Around where the indented or concave section is, if you were looking from the outside. Lights it up like a flashlight shining through your skin. Seems almost like all there is in that area is gelcoat and very little fiberglass. I need to know if this is normal or if I have a problem waiting to happen. In lenght it lines up with the middle of the gas tank and goes back to the back of the engine. Please let me know if you have noticed the same.
