I had to be towed about 2 miles the other day in my speedster 160. We were not going fast, max 5 to 10 knots. Will this have done any damage to my boat or should I do anything before she goes back on the water?
Also, is there anything I should do if I have to get towed again?
Thanks,
Brian

You should be fine, getting towed shouldn't affect anything on your boat if your boat was completely shut off while you were being towed.
Nothing special to do when being towed, just make sure you have the rope tied tight and in a secure location.

Most of the Manuals for Seadoo Boats & Jet Ski's say in it that if towing is required over 5 MPH you are to clamp the water intake hose coming from the intake grate to the pump, on most of the newer models it is theI had to be towed about 2 miles the other day in my speedster 160. hose marked with a green stripe, if it was as slow as you say I would not
worry about any damage.
