I noticed on the new 2007 series of boats there is a heater.
How does this work? Any diagrams or info? Does this send heat through ducts?
Also any idea if this can be retrofitted on a 2006 Challenger 180 CS?

The heater works very much like a traditional auto heater, using the coolant from the port engine and running it through a heater core before it enters the heat exchanger. There are vent at the feet of the driver and passenger seat at the helm. And one vent that can be pulled out with a hose to be used to heat up…..well other things, wedge it in it wetsuit perhaps? No diagrams as of yet. I doubt there will be any SeaDoo kit to retrofit a challenger 180 but it may be possible.I noticed on the new 2007 series of boats there is a heater.

Well if you think about it, it wouldn't be too hard to DIY. If you used the closed loop part of the cooling system, you'd just have to add some coolant lines and several small radiators. It would add to the amount of coolant in the system but this wouldn't be a bad thing. This "heater system" could be added to any of the closed loop boats.
