The other day I observed on here an item about a remote control installation for the stereo. It was positioned on the starboard side just in front of the throttle controls. Well now I can't find that. Does anyone have any info on this?

I replaced my stock Clarion M255 in my 06 speedster with a Clarion M455 so I could add a remote. All I had to do was take the old radio out and plug the new on back in. Same plug worked since it was a Clarion. I bought the Clarion remote with the LCD screen and mounted it on the driver side cupholder. I attached a long bolt to the back of the radio and drilled a small hold in the cupholder so I could fasten the remote in place. Looks like a stock installation. Here are some pics.
