Hi,
I had a friend helping me clean my 2004 Sportster 4Tec
The area under the rear-facing seat was dirty.
He pulled on the cushion, thinking it was removable. It removed, but we cannot find a way to reattach it to the 3 little stubby pegs that were pushed up into 3 holes in the base of the seat.
It appears that the pegs (with seat attached) were seated on the upper shell before assembly to the lower shell. And, were not meant for removal.
Any ideas on re-attaching this seat cushion?
Thanks in advance,
Bill Gargan

The plastic rivits have to be pulled out carefully with pliers and the heads are screwed into seat. Then they are pushed back through the holes. They are not supose to be removed but mine come unscrewed all the time and I've only had my SCIC since April. If anyone comes out with a better replacement for them I'd love to know.Hi,
