Hi, There are four things that a continuous beeb is caused by.Hey Guys. I've had my speedster 6 months now and always flushed out with the engine off. My questions are: Is this ok or am I better off running the engine. Also I ran the engine with it yesterday and no water came out the little hole at the side and it beeped constantly. Can anyone give me advice?
1 : Cooling system problem / check water intake system for obstruction.
2 : Oil level is low
3 : Oil Pump failure
4 : Sensor out of range
I would say it's the cooling system intake.
I have not experienced this problem....I just looked it up for you.

The mercury engine can be flushed either on or off. If on, be sure to only idle. I flush mine 5 minutes off, then on (idle). Water does not come out, but I kiss the boat, (suck water out the outlet) untill it starts comming out. Flush on idle 5 minutes, then off, flush untill water comes out cool. I find it flushs better with engine on.Hi, There are four things that a continuous beeb is caused by.Hey Guys. I've had my speedster 6 months now and always flushed out with the engine off. When water does not come out the eyelet, it will beep in about three minutes, turn it off, it means it is overheating. If you suck the water untill it comes out, it will not overheat. If you do this, be sure to suck the water out before it heats up, so as to avoid getting burned...
