well after probably the hottest 3 days in june since reocrds began - we have perfected the art of loading the boat up with kit
friday and staurday we kept coming back to the ramp and exchanging kit from the truck - which proved to be quite the pain in the neck
on sunday we launched the boat - left it on the pontoon while i dissapeared to answer the call of nature - ten minutes later i returned to the boat to discover that my girly had managed to stow every bit of kit on the boat
bear in mind that friday and saturday we were on the baot for about 8 hours on each day
so this is what she managed to stow -
2 ski ropes
1 ho 69" monoski -his
1 ho 67" monoski - hers
1 36" donut and 70ft rope and foot pump
2 impact vests
2 inflating life jackets
1 offshore flare pack
1 vhf handheld radio
1 fire extinguisher
2 motorola walkie talkies
1 5'9" ugly stick (fishing rod with multiplier reel)
1 tackle and bait box
1 fish box with ice
2 wet suits
change of dry clothes - shorts and t shirt
1 10lb grapnel anchor, 20 ft 8mm galv chain and 40ft rope
1 4" oar
1 bottle pop - hers
6 pack of beer - his
2 packed lunches
mask and snorkel
first aid kit and tool kit
sunbloc and a few other beach bits and bobs
dont you just love them - they can really sort things out
before sunday we had to come back afetr skiiing to change kit for fishing then come back top change to go to the beach - not any more - what a star
how much kit?
