What up crew? I justed picked up my new speedster 200 on Friday & they had to order my carpet & bemini top. I have 2 questions. Does the carpet snap in or have to be professionally be installed? Is the bemini easy to put up & take down? Thanx for all help.

Have a 2006 speedster also. The Bimini top really helps out in the sun. It is easy to put up and take down. There are just a couple of complaints. I wish there were a way to hold it up without opening it. Also with the bimini top layed back and unopened you cannot pull the ski post up. You have to have the bimini top up if you want to use the ski post. I am very very happy with my boat. Just a few minor quirks. I cannot say anything about the carpet as I didn't get it. I wasn't sure whether I wanted the carpet or hydro turf. Also the bimini top seems to rub off some of the gray on the rear sunpad. My cover for my bimini top has some gray on it where it rubbed while trailering. Hope some of this helps.
Happy Boating.

Thanks Kev077. WOW that sucks, that you need to keep the top up in order to use the ski post. Is the Bimini easy to take on & off the boat?

Very easy to take on and off. I always bring mine in the house after coming back from the lake. I keep my boat covered up under a carport. There are just two thumbscrews one on each side that hold the top on. When the sun is out though, the top is worth its weight in gold.

Thanks Big Kev077!!!!! I still love my boat & wouldn't trade it for anything. (Well maybe the Speedster Wake.)
