After 2 grueling days trying to remove my pump to install a new wear ring and SOLAS Impeller on my new C180, I am stuck! First problem galvanic corrosion on the Reverse Gate Allen Bolts. Was able to get 3 out after PB Blaster overnight, but 4th was so seized that it rounded out the head and never broke loose. Was told by Sea Doo tech to drill off head and the reverse gate bracket "should pull right off". Well... stainless bolt (now with no head) is apparently cold welded (white death) with corrosion. Worked on it for several hours and finally gave a gear puller a try as last resort. Bracket snapped around the seized bolt and it never broke loose. Hacksaw and $225 to Riva and I have new bracket. Hoping once I get the pump removed that I will be able to get the rest of the broken bracket off and the bolt out of the pump. Went to pull the pump today. 4 Pump nuts broke loose and came off no problem, but pump will not budge. Shop manual says "remove jet pump with a wiggle movement". 4 hrs later and "wiggle" so hard I had the trailer shaking and bouncing and pump will not break loose. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
