I have been reading that the '06 Challenger suffers from hollow valve stems that tend to spontaneously crack (destroying your engine) and the supercharger has ceramic washers internally that tend to wear and also ruin engines.
Has anyone had to deal with this and what is recommended?
I am in the middle of a purchase = '06 Challenger CS with the Rotax supercharged engine. Starting to worry lol. The boat has been run in salt water and has sat in a brokers yard for 2 years. I checked the oil, looked good. Started it up and purred right up. Coolant levels good. She was (very) dirty on the outside and looked like she had been in that yard for two years. The broker told me he emptied the gas tank 2 yrs ago and added 1 gallon for the showing. What do you guys think?
