Hello all.

I have a 1997 Sportser with a single Rotax 717.

 

I have some questions regarding the 2 hose flush ports - starboard and under swim step.

Why are there 2 ports?

Doesn't the swim step port just let cooling water bleed when under way?

 

I'd like to put a plug in the swim step port.

Good idea?

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.
