Does anyone know how to pop the engine compartment of a 2006 Islandia if the cable release is broken?
The battery for my boat died after being left on by my son. Normally not a big deal, but the cable release for the engine compartment is broken or not functioning correctly. No matter how hard I pull on the cable release, it won't budge.
I have tried pushing down and pulling up on the hood as someone else attempted to pull on the cable, but still no go for getting the hood open.
Is there another way into the engine compartment?
