Hi.....Could someone please tell me. My 2002 Speedster while in Neutral when docking will jump into forward or reverse and has a quick surge of RPM and jump forward.. only happens once in awhile and is dangerous....Does anyone have any ideas what this might be?

Our 2000 Speedster would do the same, which I believe was do to vibration at lower speeds.  I typically just kept my hand firmly on the lever, switching from F-N-R to control speeds while docking or trailering.  I rarely had a need to throttle above idle speed while in F or R.  Typically just moving to F or R was enough thrust in calm conditions.
