Hello I'm new to this forum. Recently I bought 2000 seadoo challenger 2000 240hp. First time I took it out it ran perfect no problems. Went couple days later it started right away no problems and ones I cleared no wave zone and start accelerating it dies. It starts right away but only for 3 sec and dies again and it doesn't matter if I leave it in idle or give full throttle still dies in 3 sec. Doesn't choke just feels like kill switch. Took it home changes spark plugs checked all fuses, took it out next day same issue. If it cools down it runs for longer then 3 sec. Please help. I'm thinking it's temp censor or maybe it's not cooling off

Fuel filter may be plugged or fuel water separator my need to be drained. My last boat was a 2001 Challenger 1800 with the same motor and had a problem similar to yours, changed the filter and ran great after that.
