I recovered the seat bottoms only of the bottom bench on our '95 speeder over the winter. It was super easy. I took the bench out last thing in the fall before winter storage and worked on it in the basement during my "spare time". Just reinstalled it today. Everything was held together with aluminum pop-rivets. I bought the replacement vinyl at Marshals. I noticed the intricate sewing on the main portion of the bench and thought to myself "that looks complicated" glad i only had the seat bottoms to do. good luck!Does anyone know how to recover the 98-2000 speedster seats?? I have a 1999 Speedster Sk and I wound up painting the seats. I looked at recovering them but it looks like you would have to heat form the vinyl to make it fit right and that was well beyond my ability and budget. If the vinyl is still in good condition and they just look like the usual over-ripe bannanas I would probabaly look into paint. Mine didn't turn out perfect but they look a thousand times better than they did.Does anyone know how to recover the 98-2000 speedster seats??
