HI all,
While reading about SeaDoo boats on the web it describes the one touch inlet clearance system for the Challenger and shows a button next to the steering wheel. Since I was going to buy a Sportster SCIC and the company website talks about the same with with that boat but it doesnt show a picture of the button. While at the dealer I asked him about it and he wasnt sure. I have not yet called the factory customer service number and I am going to do that later on today. So my question, if you current owners can help me, is there the inlet clearance system on this boat? Thank you.

Not in 2005 model .unless you count the drivers hand.

How often am I going to be pulling weeds out? I guess just stay out of the weeds and lilys. I called the factory today, in Quebec, they had the day off on Monday and the customer service person is looking into the question for me for the 2006 model.

I got a call back from the customer service rep who said that the web site was in error and the 2006 Sportster SCIC does not have the inlet clearance system.
