I put my 06 speedster in the other day and started the engines. I was waiting for my wife to park the trailer and revved the engines just a little. I noticed my driver side engine had a vibration when revved. There is not much trash on the lake but seemed to be more this day with a lot of floating leaves and debris. I revved the motor a couple more times, and all of the sudden it cleared up. You could almost feel something coming out the back. Has anyone else had this happen, and do you guys think that is what it was. I finally got my 10 hours yesterday, so will have the 10 hr. service done, and I am ready for summer.
Thanks all
sucked up?

As a matter of fact, the same thing happened to me today. I'm right around the 5 hour mark and it made me pretty nervous. After I thought about it, I remember it happening with my '97 Sea Doo GTI as well. Something tells me it's related to irregular water flow through the jets, but that's only a wild guess. The solution has always been to give it a little extra throttle and it goes away.
Unless it happens regularly, I wouldn't worry about it.

It has happened past two times out, to the driver side engine. I am thinking it is debris because when I just rev it back and forth a little you can feel it clear up. It just happened to me when I was putting the boat in, was some debris around the dock, and ran perfect the rest of the day. If it was something more serious I would think it would happen all the time or more than just once that day. Thanks for the help.

I also got up under the boat when I put it back on the trailer and pulled out a couple of small sticks that were hung up in the intakes by the impeller. Seems like the vibration was caused by this and when away after part of the stick made it through.

Funny you should say it. I was jumping a few wakes from a larger boat on Saturday when I heard this masive bang underneath the boat and a big shake. The boat came to a standstill but was reving really high. I limped 3 miles back to nase and pulled the boat out. I had sucked up one of my own ropes which had then snapped and jot jammed in the impeller. A sharp knife and a screwdrive saw me back in the water full blast about 30 minutes later. Got a fright though!!
