I'm starting on the long list of winter mods to my Challenger 180SE. One of those mods includes installing a Jensen marine single din DVD player along with a Pyle 7" marine monitor. I really want to place the monitor somewhere near the passenger storage area.
Unfortunately, I just realized there isn't enough space to place the monitor in the front dash area between the passenger side windshield and the stereo storage compartment.
Has anyone else mounted a monitor on thier Challenger 180, and if so, where was it placed? I'm open to any reasonable suggestions. At the moment, I'm contemplating fabricating some type of bracket that will fixture the monitor to the windshield.
Any thoughts?
Best location for a 7" marine monitor?

I reckon if you made a swivel bracket that bolted inside the lower glove box you could have a monitor that would swing out when being used and tucked away when not. I suction cup to my windshield and use a ram mount to mount an ipad when I want to watch tv in the boat via tivizen, I bluetooth the sound through the speakers.

Good suggestion. I had not thought about the suction cup. What makes this better is that I have an extra RAM window mount from an older Lowrance GPS unit. My only concern with the suction cup is ensuring a reliable connection to the windshield during turbulent conditions.
