I'm in the process of changing my: steering, reverse, and throttle cables on my 2000 speedster.
Does anyone know the proper way to remove the pins located in front of the pivot bolts for the reverse gate. I've installed the new cable, but the gate still is somewhat hard to pivot.
I was going to remove the bolts and lube them since they've never been removed in 14 years since I bought the boat. My manual doesn't tell how to remove these pins. They appear to be wedged in place.
Thanks in advance for any input.
