hi everyone
I'm looking at buying a cottage on a lake that is boat access only, the public boat launch has a depth of about 4-5 ft and is a sandy muddy bottom, that doesn't have me worried so much but we have to drive about 5 min through an area where the weeds come up to the surface, also half the lake is like that too, the other half of the lake is 20-60 ft deep so that is where I will probably do most of my boating, I would like to boat all over the lake but with how the weeds come up to the surface it has me worried about the grate being plugged all the time, I would like to know if anyone has any tips for me on how these boats perform through weedy locations, I have heard of a weed rake and I might look into one of those if they're still available.
any advise would be great, thanks mike
